アーティスティックスイミングの選手を学生時代の約12年間経験する中で、
コスチュームデザインに触れ、18歳の時に
本場フランス・パリで学ぶ決意をし、渡仏。
その中で、Olympia Le-Tan (オランピア ル
タン)と出逢い、インターンを経て製作に
携わり、刺繍が身近なものとなる。
クリエイティブで自由で遊び心の詰まった
Olympiaの作品の刺繍を手がける事で、
表現・感性・考え方など、大きく影響を
受ける。
その後、刺繍アトリエの最高峰LESAGE
(CHANELやDiorなどのオートクチュール
コレクションの刺繍を手掛けるアトリエ)
が運営する、Ecole LESAGE (エコール
ルサージュ)へ入学し、リュネビル刺繍を習得。
同時に、オートクチュールブランド
ALEXIS MABILLE (アレクシス マビル)での
インターンで、実際に作品製作・ショーに
携わり、”オートクチュールとしての
リュネビル刺繍”を学ぶ。
その後就職したカタール財閥運営
オートクチュールブランド（カタール・
ドーハ拠点 )での経験もSWIMAYAの
大きなスパイスとなる。
日本・フランス・カタール、文化や
背景が大きく違う環境で体感し得た
感性や色彩感覚を作品として表現するため、
日本に本帰国後、SWIMAYAを設立。
現在は、軽井沢にアトリエを構え、
自然からのインスピレーションとこれまで
培った感性を刺繍という媒体で表現している。

As an artistic swimming athletes for about
12 years and she was exposed to costume design.
At the age of 18, she decided to study in Paris, France.
There she met Olympia Le Temps, and through an internship,
became familiar with embroidery.
Being exposed to Olympia's free, creative and playful work,
she was greatly influenced by her expression,
sensitivity and way of thinking.
She then enrolled in Ecole LESAGE, run by LESAGE,
a leading embroidery atelier that embroiders for
CHANEL, Dior, and other prestigious fashion houses.
At the same time, she had an internship at
Alexis Mabille, a brand of haute couture, where
she was actually involved in the production and
show of the products and learned how to embroider
Luneville as haute couture.
Het subsequent work experience at the Qatar
Zaibatsu-run Autoctuque Brand (Doha, Qatar)
was also a big boost for SWIMAYA.
After returning to Japan, she established SWIMAYA in
order to express in her works the sensibility and color
sensibility that he experienced in Japan, France, and
Qatar, environments with vastly different cultures and
backgrounds.
Currently, she has an atelier in Karuizawa, Japan, where
she uses embroidery as a medium to express the sensibility
she has cultivated through inspiration from nature.
